What were the Deluxe and Ultimate editions?
Deluxe and Ultimate are important historical names. Their original contents help explain older receipts, reviews, and ownership entitlements, but they should not be treated as a guarantee of what a current storefront bundle contains.

Does Reloaded Edition include Bloody Ties?
Yes. Techland describes Bloody Ties as part of Reloaded Edition. When Reloaded was announced in February 2024, Techland said existing Standard Edition owners would receive the upgrade for free. Its FAQ gave free-claim instructions for Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox, and noted a Japan-specific minimum price of 100 yen for the DLC at that time. That regional note applies to the 2024 announcement, not a current universal price. Techland’s announcement and FAQ.
Does Dying Light 2 Ultimate include The Beast?
Techland announced on August 20, 2024, that The Beast would be available at no extra charge to owners of Dying Light 2 Ultimate Edition. The announcement followed the original Ultimate expansion-pass description, which had anticipated two story add-ons; Techland said The Beast would instead be a standalone adventure. The entitlement is tied to Ultimate ownership, not to buying Reloaded. Techland’s announcement.
Is Reloaded a free upgrade?
For players who already owned Standard Edition, Techland said the Reloaded upgrade would be free. This is an ownership entitlement announced in 2024, not a statement that Reloaded is free for new buyers. Techland’s Reloaded announcement.

- If you are buying the game: compare the live listings for your platform and region. Choose Reloaded for the base game, updates, and Bloody Ties; choose Digital Extras if you also want the digital items listed for that specific bundle.
- If you already own Standard: check your game library and the platform’s add-on or edition page for the Reloaded upgrade rather than buying the game again.
- If you already own Ultimate: verify your account’s entitlement to The Beast through the platform where you own the game. Do not assume a Reloaded purchase carries the same entitlement.
- If a listing says Deluxe or Ultimate: read its included-content list. Techland’s current FAQ names Reloaded and Digital Extras, while storefront titles and bundles can differ by platform and region.
Techland’s own description called Reloaded “a more refined version of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, assembling all the work we have put into it over the last 2 years.” That is the publisher’s characterization of the edition, not an independent assessment. Techland’s announcement.
