There is no verified, universally accepted answer to “the hardest obby in Roblox.” Different games and communities use different difficulty scales, and a title like “hardest” is a creator’s claim—not proof that an obby outranks every other one. A more useful answer is to name the specific game or ranking system and check what counts as a legitimate completion.
Why there isn’t one definitive hardest obby
Roblox has no established cross-platform authority that ranks every obby by difficulty. Specialist communities maintain their own catalogs and labels, and those ratings apply within their frameworks. For example, the JToH community difficulty page uses a numeric scale and named placements. A separate hardest-towers wiki catalogs courses that can exceed JToH’s hardest official in-game difficulty, while noting that many of its labels are unofficial.
It also matters whether a claim is about a course that has been completed or one that is merely designed to be extremely difficult. A creator’s description can tell you what that experience intends to offer, but it does not compare it against every other obby on Roblox.
What named obbies can tell you
Great Citadel of Difficulty Chart: a game-specific record
The Great Citadel of Difficulty Chart listing describes its course as a progressive test of skill capacity and reports a “Current Proven World Record” of Floor 62 by Blueficient. The listing requires a new record attempt to be streamed or uploaded as a complete run starting from Floor 1, in Legit Run Mode. This is a record claim with rules for that experience; it is not a Roblox-wide hardest-obby ranking.

The Hardest Obby on Roblox: a title, not a comparison
The creator listing for The Hardest Obby on Roblox says the stages are verified and possible, with difficulty rising from easy toward near-impossible. That tells players what the creator claims about the course, but it does not establish that it is harder than every other Roblox obby.
HARDEST OBBY TOWERS: stage count is not a ranking
HARDEST OBBY TOWERS, from Cly’s Studios, advertises 200+ stages. That is a stage-count claim, not evidence of a difficulty placement or a comparison with other experiences.

How to judge a “hardest obby” claim
Before accepting a claim, check what it measures. These questions help separate a game’s marketing from a meaningful comparison:
- Which game or community is doing the ranking? Difficulty labels only make sense within the scale that defines them.
- Is the course completed, or only designed? A difficult-looking course and a verified completed run are different claims.
- What proof counts? Look for rules about recording, streaming, or submitting a full run.
- What assistance is allowed? Check whether the run permits skips, checkpoints, or other help. Do not assume one game’s rules apply to another.
For Great Citadel of Difficulty Chart, the listing specifies a full recorded run from Floor 1 and Legit Run Mode. Other experiences need to be evaluated by their own stated rules.
