It was removed on February 16, 2026, with its effects reportedly moved into the Journal. It was never a class or game mode.
What the Mystic did
Before its removal, the Mystic let players select a category for a future draw. Choosing a Talent category influenced the next Talent Draw; choosing a Mantra category influenced the next Whisper Draw. The effect guaranteed at least one option from the selected category, not an entire draw made up only of that category. The community-maintained Deepwoken Wiki’s Mystic page documents this former mechanic.

The last prompt chosen before powering up replaced earlier prompts. For Mantras, the wiki notes that cards are generated as they are flipped, so players could make a selection during a Power Up between card choices.

The Mystic’s interaction changed over time. The wiki says the NPC originally used riddles to indicate Talent categories; an update on July 14, 2025, changed this to direct selection by category name. The page also records the NPC’s removal on February 16, 2026, and says its effects were integrated into the Journal. These dates and mechanics are documented by a community-maintained wiki, not an official patch note identified here.

Where to use the effect now
Players discussing the change say the function moved to the Talent and Mantra tabs, while the wiki describes the destination more generally as the Journal. That supports looking in those Journal areas rather than searching the world for a Mystic, but does not establish a precise current menu path. The player report is anecdotal; check the live interface for the exact controls.
