The Path of Exile 2 Trade Site is Grinding Gear Games’ official web interface for finding player-listed items. Open pathofexile.com/trade2, choose the league your character is playing in, search for an item, and use its contact option to reach the seller; the exchange is completed in-game.
You can also reach the PoE 2 trade site through the Trade button on the official Path of Exile website. Make sure you use the PoE 2 page, not the separate PoE 1 trade page.
How to use the PoE 2 Trade Site
- Open the official PoE 2 Trade Site.
- Select the league your character is playing in. League options can change, so choose from the live dropdown rather than relying on an old league name.
- Search by item name or type, then apply the item, stat, and price criteria relevant to your needs. If no results appear, check that your league and item type are right and consider loosening restrictive filters.
- Review a listing and its price, then use its whisper or contact option to reach the seller.
- Arrange the exchange in-game and check the item and price in the trade window before accepting.
Search filters can help narrow results, but do not assume every stat is easy to search for or that every filter works as expected. GGG staff have acknowledged a historical issue involving a particular radius-stat filter; that report does not establish whether the issue persists today. See the developer response about the filter issue.
How to list items for sale
A community forum explanation describes setting a premium or quad premium stash tab to Public, enabling trade, and assigning a price to an item so it can be picked up for trade listings. This is community guidance, not a current official setup manual. Check the stash-tab options in-game for the exact controls available to you. Read the community selling discussion.

Troubleshooting trade searches and whispers
Am I on the correct trade page?
Check that you are using the PoE 2 page at pathofexile.com/trade2, rather than the PoE 1 trade page. GGG staff have also directed players to the Trade button on the official Path of Exile website.
Why can’t I contact a seller?
Confirm that you selected the league in which your character is playing. If the site reports an account-related whisper error, try signing in with the same account credentials you use to play. GGG support specifically notes Steam credentials for players who use Steam. See GGG support’s advice about trade whisper errors.

Why does my search show no results?
Check the selected league and item type, then broaden your stat or price criteria. A narrow combination of requirements may return no listings. Filter behavior can also vary; do not assume a particular stat filter is available or working without checking the live site.
Why is a stat filter missing or awkward to use?
Some players have reported filter issues. A January 2025 developer response documented a historical radius-filter problem, but the available research does not confirm whether that issue remains. Check the current interface and relevant support discussions rather than relying on an old workaround.
