Pending Robux are Robux from an Experience Pass sale that Roblox is temporarily holding before adding them to your available Robux total. Roblox calls this status “escrow.” The official help page says the Robux appear in your total after the holding period ends, but it does not give a fixed release time.
Why does Roblox make Robux pending?
Roblox holds Robux earned from Experience Pass sales before releasing them to your account total. In its Experience Passes help article, Roblox calls this pending status “escrow.” While the Robux are pending, they are not yet part of the available total you can use.

The page describes the hold and release, but does not explain the reason for an individual hold. It also does not say that every type of pending Robux follows the same process.
When will pending Robux be released?
Roblox says the Robux are added to your total after the holding period ends. Its Experience Passes help page does not specify a universal number of days or provide a transaction-specific release date, so you cannot use that page to calculate exactly when a particular sale will clear.

Does this apply to all pending Robux?
The cited Roblox help page describes pending earnings from Experience Pass sales. It does not establish a shared hold duration or explanation for avatar item sales, transfers, or other kinds of Robux. Check the Roblox documentation that applies to the specific source of your Robux rather than assuming all pending balances work alike.
Roblox has also published upcoming Terms of Use for the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, with an effective date of November 1, 2026. Those regional terms distinguish “Earned Robux” generated through compliant creator monetization from purchased Robux and certain other sources. They are not yet effective as of October 8, 2026, and do not establish a worldwide rule or a release schedule for pending Experience Pass earnings. See Roblox’s Terms of Use for the regional terms.
