The clearest community-reported list places Chameleon Bubbles in Bubble Witch 2 Saga on levels 231, 370, 1016, and 2283. A separate reply in the same King Community thread also names level 136 and tentatively suggests level 17. Those two are leads rather than confirmed entries, and the thread does not show whether the list covers every level or still matches the current version of the game.
What a Chameleon Bubble does
A Chameleon Bubble changes color after every shot you take. King Support describes the mechanic in its help article at https://bubblewitch2.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/210697509-What-s-a-Trouble-Bubble with the line: “Chameleon Bubbles change a lot! From, color to color after every shot!” The community-edited Bubble Witch Saga 2 Wiki entry at https://bubblewitch2.fandom.com/wiki/Chameleon_Bubble adds that the bubble can be cleared by matching it, by dropping it, or by using a booster bubble, and that the feature first appears at level 231.
Because the color keeps shifting, a level with Chameleon Bubbles can require you to adjust your aim to each new color rather than planning several shots ahead on a single color.

How far the level list can be trusted
- The thread is a player-run reference, not an official, dated level database, so it should not be treated as a complete index.
- Level 136 and level 17 come from individual replies. They have not been checked against the moderator list, so treat them as worth testing rather than settled.
- Nothing in the thread states which game version the list reflects. Levels can be added, changed, or reworked over time, so a level that once had Chameleon Bubbles may not still have them.
How to confirm a level before you play it
- Open Bubble Witch 2 Saga and go to the level map.
- Select the level number you want to check and open its preview or start screen.
- Look at the bubbles on the first screen. A Chameleon Bubble is recognizable because its color shifts after each shot.
- If the level does not show one, check the level in the King Community thread or the Bubble Witch 2 Wiki entry for a more recent note.
The community reports are most useful as a shortlist to start from. Confirming on the level itself is the only way to know for certain that a particular level has the feature in your copy of the game.
Some players look for levels with Chameleon Bubbles to complete team-quest tasks, and the same thread includes requests for lists covering other features such as clouds, cursed bubbles, and bats. Those requests are outside the scope of this answer.
