The King Community reply shows no visible posting date, so there is no way to tell from the page how current the list is. The list is also not presented as complete. Nothing reviewed establishes a full, official, up-to-date list of every level that contains bats.
Level 464 and its bat bubbles
The Bubble Witch 2 Saga Wiki page for level 464 says the board has bat bubbles that build up over time and need attention. Its suggested approach is to reduce the large groups of bat bubbles before dealing with the other blockers on the board.

That is the wiki’s own walkthrough advice. It is not official King strategy, and the page does not show how the advice was tested or how well it performs.
How bat bubbles work
King’s Help Center article “What’s a Trouble Bubble?” (bubblewitch2.zendesk.com) describes the mechanic. Its help text reads: “The Bat Bubbles will never let their bubbles fall free. Do a match-3 to make those hungry bats flee!”

In practice, this means:
- Bat bubbles stop the bubbles they hold from falling free, so the bubbles around them stay on the board.
- Making a match-3 is the way the help text gives to make the bats flee.
Two points about this source matter if you rely on its exact wording. First, although it sits in the Bubble Witch 2 help center, its introduction refers to “Bubble Witch Saga 3”. Second, the article shows no visible publication date. The mechanic it describes is the same kind of obstacle that players report on the levels above, but the article does not list levels, so it cannot confirm which boards use it.
How to check a level before spending lives

- Note the level number in the game before you start, and compare it with the list above.
- If the level is on the list, look for bat bubbles at the start of the board and plan a match-3 to clear them.
- If the level is not on the list, that does not mean it has no bats. The list is not exhaustive.
- Expect the board to differ from older reports. Saga Level Help (sagalevelhelp.com/bubble-witch-2), an unofficial guide, says levels may have been tweaked as the game has progressed.
- If you need more coverage, search player forums using the same phrasing players use. The King Community thread is titled “Which levels have what”, and its original question asks which levels have clouds, cursed tiles, bats, and similar obstacles.
What the available evidence does not establish
- No official, complete list of bat levels for Bubble Witch 2 was found.
- No source states how many bats appear on any level, or how many attempts a level takes.
- No source compares the levels for speed or reliability when you are working through a quest.
- The help article’s reference to Bubble Witch Saga 3 and its lack of a date mean its wording may not describe the current Bubble Witch 2 version exactly.
Until King publishes an official level index, the three numbers above and the level 464 example are the best-documented starting points, and each should be checked against the board you see.
