Its local icon-parts window ran through April 1, 2025. The regional differences are a reason to check local Nintendo announcements rather than assume U.S. dates or retailers apply elsewhere. Why March 10 is called MAR10 Day
The name is a date-format pun: written month first, March 10 becomes “MAR 10,” which resembles “Mario.” Nintendo Australia and New Zealand explained: “if you write month first and date second (like they prefer to do in America), 10th March ends up written as ‘Mar 10’ (MAR10 = Mario, geddit?)!” Nintendo Australia and New Zealand, March 7, 2025
