It would be inaccurate to state that she currently uses OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, or another encoder as fact.
Why the answer is not confirmed
A recent article addressing this question says there is no authoritative public confirmation of which encoder Pokimane uses today. Streamers commonly use OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop, but popularity or familiarity is not evidence of her personal setup.
What the Streamlabs connection does—and does not—show
The available reporting describes historical Streamlabs use for alerts and tipping, including work on a $5 donation cap. It also discusses a later dispute over the use of her images in Streamlabs marketing. This is historical context, not proof that Streamlabs Desktop is her current encoder.
Alerts and tipping are separate from encoding and sending a live broadcast. A streamer can use a service for donations or alerts without using its desktop application to produce the stream. The reported Streamlabs relationship therefore does not answer which encoder she relies on day to day.

What the software options do
OBS Studio
OBS Studio is free and open-source software distributed under GPLv2. The OBS Project describes it as “open-source software developed by volunteer contributors around the world in their free time.” That establishes general information about OBS, not that Pokimane uses it.
Twitch Studio and Streamlabs OBS
Twitch Creator Camp describes Twitch Studio as a free streaming app designed to help new streamers go live on Twitch, and lists Streamlabs OBS with guided setup and integrated alerts. Those descriptions explain available options; they do not identify Pokimane’s software. Streamlabs’ Twitch setup guide covers connecting Streamlabs Desktop, configuring a tip page and alerts, and adjusting stream settings—again, general product guidance rather than evidence of her current setup.

What to choose for your own stream
If you are choosing software, base the decision on the setup you want rather than trying to copy an unconfirmed celebrity setup:
- Consider OBS Studio if you want free, open-source streaming software.
- Consider a guided setup if you are new and value the onboarding described by Twitch for Twitch Studio or Streamlabs OBS.
- Consider integrated alerts if you want alerts included in the workflow Twitch describes for Streamlabs OBS.
These distinctions are not a performance ranking, and the available descriptions do not establish which application is best for every creator.
