The Depot Bus connects Arknights: Endfield’s AIC factory belts to Depot storage. Use a Depot Loader to put belt-delivered items into the Depot, then a Depot Unloader to select a stored item and send it back onto a connected belt.
What the Depot Bus is for
The bus is a storage-and-retrieval link between factory transport belts and the Depot. The in-game Factory tutorial explains that Depot Loaders move items into the Depot and Depot Unloaders move them out.
That lets you store factory output and later feed a chosen stored item back into production. The Depot can also hold items gathered in the world; its storage management is available at a TP Point or the Core AIC Area, as described in the System tutorial.
How to send items to and from the Depot
Store items with a Depot Loader
- Make sure the Depot Bus is connected and active.
- Place a Depot Loader alongside the bus.
- Connect a transport belt carrying the items to the Loader. Items delivered by the belt are stored in the Depot.
Retrieve items with a Depot Unloader
- Place a Depot Unloader alongside the bus.
- Interact with it and select the item you want to retrieve from the Depot.
- Connect the Unloader to a transport belt. The selected item is unloaded onto that belt.
Where the bus and access facilities go
Loaders and Unloaders attach alongside the length of the Depot Bus. In Wuling, a Depot Bus Section must connect to a Depot Bus Port or another active Depot Bus Section before it can support attached access facilities. The Wuling Depot Bus Section entry describes this connection requirement.

If a Loader or Unloader will not attach, check that the section is connected to a port or active section and that the facility is placed alongside the bus. The Factory tutorial also requires connecting the facility to a transport belt for items to move.

A belt routes items between connected factory facilities. The Depot Bus instead provides access to Depot storage: a Loader puts belt-delivered items away, while an Unloader draws a selected stored item back onto a belt. Choose the bus when the job is exchanging items with storage, not simply routing items along a factory line.

The available tutorial material explains this input-and-output role but does not establish a measured throughput, space-saving amount, or efficiency advantage over other logistics facilities. It also does not provide a direct measured comparison with PAC ports.
