What time did Fortnite OG Season 3 go live?
Epic’s March 25, 2025 announcement confirmed that OG Chapter 1 Season 3 started that day, concluding: “Season 3 starts today!” It did not specify an exact playable-at time.
Epic’s Fortnite Status announcement said v34.20 downtime would begin at 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time on March 25. Dexerto reported that servers returned at 5:30 a.m. ET. That gives players a practical estimate of when access resumed, but it is secondary reporting about server availability—not an official statement that OG Season 3 launched at precisely 5:30.
Which Fortnite Season 3 is this?
This refers to Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 3, which began March 25, 2025. It is not Chapter 6 Season 3: Epic’s separate v35.00 ecosystem notes are dated May 2, 2025 and concern that later season.

What arrived with OG Chapter 1 Season 3?
Epic’s announcement highlighted the return of Lucky Landing and the meteor, along with OG 50v50. It also listed returning and season-introduced items such as the Guided Missile, Hand Cannon, Hunting Rifle, Remote Explosive, Heavy Shotgun, Port-A-Fort, Light Machine Gun and Clingers.
The 45-tier OG Pass offered premium rewards for 1,000 V-Bucks or through Fortnite Crew, according to Epic’s announcement. The Epic Games Store’s Fortnite OG page describes the general format: a new OG Pass is available each OG season, and OG seasons run approximately two months. That general cadence is not an exact duration for Season 3.
