In Pacific Standard Time, that was about 7:00 p.m. on February 25. The local date differed because the Americas were still on the previous calendar day.
Version 3.1 release time by time zone
HoYoverse scheduled maintenance to start at 06:00 UTC+8 on February 26, 2025, and said it was expected to take five hours. Adding that expected duration gives an approximate availability time of 11:00 UTC+8, or 03:00 UTC.
| Time zone | Scheduled maintenance start | Approximate expected availability |
|---|---|---|
| UTC+8 | February 26, 2025, 06:00 | February 26, 2025, 11:00 |
| UTC | February 25, 2025, 22:00 | February 26, 2025, 03:00 |
| Pacific Standard Time (UTC−8) | February 25, 2025, 2:00 p.m. | February 25, 2025, about 7:00 p.m. |
The schedule and five-hour expected duration come from HoYoverse’s Version 3.1 update notice, dated February 26, 2025. The availability times are calculated from that maintenance window, not separately announced exact unlock times.
Why the date was February 25 for some players
The official schedule used UTC+8, where the update date was February 26. That corresponded to the evening of February 25 in Pacific Standard Time, so players in the Americas could see the update listed under the previous local calendar date. The clock conversion does not mean the update had a separate regional schedule.

Was 11:00 UTC+8 an exact release time?
No. HoYoverse said maintenance was “expected” to finish in five hours. That makes 11:00 UTC+8 an estimate based on the planned start and duration, rather than a guaranteed minute when servers would reopen. The notice did not establish a more precise unlock time.
