Was The Alters on Game Pass?
Yes. 11 bit studios announced The Alters as a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, and Xbox Wire’s June 13, 2025 Game Pass additions listing named Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The studio’s launch announcement and Xbox Wire listing confirm its launch-day inclusion.

How to check current Game Pass access
Launch-day availability does not guarantee that a game remains in every plan’s catalog. Xbox’s current The Alters store listing identifies Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming support. It says the game is cloud playable with Game Pass Premium and Ultimate, while streaming with Essential requires a purchase. Check the listing for your region and plan before subscribing or attempting to play; catalog access and subscription names can change.
