The Fortnite | Simpsons season became playable on November 1, 2025, at approximately 5 p.m. ET—2 p.m. PT on the US West Coast. The season is over; these are historical launch-day reported times, not a current schedule. The in-game event happened earlier, at 11 a.m. ET, before scheduled downtime.
Fortnite Simpsons season launch times by region
Launch-day coverage listed the following approximate times for the season becoming playable. Sydney and Tokyo reached November 2 before the listed launch time.

These were reported schedule estimates, not an Epic guarantee that every player’s game client or server would be available at precisely the same instant. TechRadar’s November 1, 2025 live coverage distinguished the event, downtime and expected later season launch; Fortnite Tracker’s October 30 schedule also labeled its listed times approximate.
The in-game event was not the season launch
“Welcome, Our Alien Overlords” began at 11 a.m. ET on November 1, 2025—8 a.m. PT, 3 p.m. GMT and 4 p.m. CET. Scheduled downtime followed. The season’s reported playable time was around 5 p.m. ET, so the event start and the time players could enter the new season were separate milestones.

What launched with the season
Epic’s November 1, 2025 season announcement described the Springfield Battle Pass, account linking and original Simpsons animated shorts. Epic said the shorts would air in Fortnite’s Quests tab under Animated Shorts during the season and could also be found on Disney+. The Twitch Drop viewing window began at 4:30 p.m. ET; that was a promotional timing detail, not the season’s playable start.
How big was the Simpsons season?
In a June 18, 2026 announcement, Epic reported that more than 80 million players spent over 750 million hours playing during the Fortnite | Simpsons season the previous fall. Those are Epic’s retrospective figures, not measures of launch-day availability. Epic’s announcement attributes the numbers to the season.
