Fortnite’s Death Star Sabotage live event began at 2 PM Eastern Time on Saturday, June 7, 2025. That was 11 AM Pacific, 7 PM BST and 8 PM Central European time; in Japan, it was 3 AM on Sunday, June 8. The event ended the Galactic Battle season. Chapter 6 Season 3 followed server downtime, but its exact playable start time was not confirmed.

Epic Games announced the event for Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 2 PM ET. The following regional conversions were reported by Forbes:

Epic’s event announcement confirms the date and 2 PM ET start. Forbes reported the regional conversions and said players could queue two hours before the event; that advance-queue detail comes from its contemporaneous report.
What the event marked
Death Star Sabotage was the season-ending live event for Fortnite: Galactic Battle. Epic said the Star Wars-themed Battle Royale season began May 2, 2025, and would culminate in the event. Epic described Galactic Battle as the game’s first entirely Star Wars-themed Battle Royale season in its season announcement.

When did Chapter 6 Season 3 begin?
Chapter 6 Season 3 followed the event after server downtime later on June 7, according to Forbes’ contemporaneous coverage. The report anticipated a later-evening return, but the available reporting does not establish an exact time the new season became playable. Treat the event’s 2 PM ET start as confirmed; a precise Season 3 launch time is not.
