After defeating Phantom Ganon during the Hyrule Castle story sequence, return to Lookout Landing and speak with Purah. That conversation points you toward Find the Fifth Sage, the next major part of the main story.

Return to Purah at Lookout Landing

Once the Phantom Ganon battle is over, go back to Lookout Landing and talk to Purah. This is the story handoff that starts the next direction, Find the Fifth Sage. If you are unsure where to go after the fight, make this conversation your first step. PowerPyx’s Crisis at Hyrule Castle walkthrough documents this progression.

Follow the Find the Fifth Sage quest arc

The next stretch of the main story includes the quests Secret of the Ring Ruins and Guidance from Ages Past. Follow the objectives as they appear, then return to Purah when the story prompts you to report back. Completing these steps and speaking with her completes the linked Find the Fifth Sage and Crisis at Hyrule Castle progression, according to the walkthrough.

Is Phantom Ganon the final boss?

No. In this Hyrule Castle sequence, Phantom Ganon is a story boss, not the end of the main story. The quest chain continues into the Fifth Sage arc, so defeating him is a transition to the next stage rather than a cue that the main quest is finished.

If the Hyrule Castle sequence has not unlocked

The Hyrule Castle story stage follows Regional Phenomena. If you have not started that quest, first obtain the Paraglider and then speak with Purah at Lookout Landing. Nintendo’s official guide says that talking to Purah after acquiring the Paraglider triggers Regional Phenomena.

Regional Phenomena can begin in any of four regions. Nintendo suggests Hebra as a beginner-friendly option; it lies northwest of Lookout Landing. The choice of region does not change the immediate post-Phantom Ganon handoff once you reach the Hyrule Castle sequence.
