From the Uumuu arena, continue into Monomon’s chamber in the Teacher’s Archives, which are in Fog Canyon.

Where to go after Monomon
Monomon is one of three Dreamers. The other two are natural next targets if you are continuing the Dreamer objective, but there is no required order established for them.

Leaving the Teacher’s Archives
A walkthrough recommends resting at the Archives bench after the encounter and then leaving the area. From there, you can explore Fog Canyon or travel toward either remaining Dreamer; the bench stop is a suggestion, not a requirement. See the Uumuu walkthrough.
