If an AION 2 daily or weekly task has not reset, first open that activity and read its own countdown. Then confirm the game service and server, check that your character still meets the unlock requirements, and account for maintenance or event timing. A general reset table is only a reference: the activity’s in-game timer is the most useful evidence for your specific character.
Community checklists currently report a Global reset at 07:00 UTC every day and at 07:00 UTC on Wednesday for weekly activities. Those times come from third-party interpretations of game data, not an official NCSOFT schedule, and individual activities can behave differently.

What the reported reset schedule actually tells you
Two community guides currently give the same reference point for the Global service: daily activities reset at 07:00 UTC, while weekly activities reset on Wednesday at 07:00 UTC. Aion2Data’s checklist identifies the underlying data as client version 2.0.6.0 hotfix 1, Steam build 25800038, dated October 9, 2026. Daeva Guides said it checked its schedule on October 6, 2026.

These are useful comparison points, not a promise that every task refreshes at that instant. The sources are secondary, and a targeted search of the official AION 2 site found no official reset timetable or current notice confirming a task-reset bug. The game service you selected, the activity itself, maintenance, and live events can all change what you see.

Clock labels can make identical moments look different. A timer may show UTC, a service clock, a server-region clock, or your local time. Convert only after you know which clock the label represents. A guide’s converted time should not override the countdown displayed by the game.
Step 1: Read the task’s own countdown
Open the exact daily or weekly task, mission, dungeon, or activity that failed to refresh. Look for wording such as “next reset,” “recharges in,” or a date and time. Record the displayed value instead of relying on memory or a website schedule.
- If the timer is still running, the task has not missed its reset; wait for that timer to reach zero.
- If the timer reaches zero but the task remains locked, close and reopen the task panel once, then check whether the countdown has changed.
- If the activity has no countdown, check its information or rules panel for a service-specific schedule.
- If another daily or weekly activity has reset normally, note that the problem may be limited to one activity rather than a global reset.
Do not assume that a daily label means a universal daily clock. Some activities can have their own recharge or availability window, and the KINA checklist specifically advises using the in-game timer when maintenance or events affect timing.

Step 2: Verify the game service and server
Reset schedules can be presented differently across game services and time zones. Confirm the service selected on your account or login screen and the server or region where the character is located. A Global reference time is not automatically valid for every service.
- Note the service name shown in the client.
- Note the server or region shown for the character.
- Write down the timer exactly as displayed, including its clock label.
- Convert that time to UTC only if the label makes the basis clear.
- Compare the result with the reported 07:00 UTC daily or Wednesday weekly reference without treating the comparison as proof of an error.
If the client uses a local clock, daylight-saving changes can make a familiar local hour appear to move even though the UTC instant has not changed. If it uses a server clock, your local conversion may be the part that is wrong. Screenshot the timer and label before contacting support.
Step 3: Check whether the task is unlocked
A task cannot reset into your list if the character has not met its unlock conditions. Check the required level, quest chain, account progression, class or mode restriction, and any prerequisite activity. Verify the conditions on the same character that is missing the task; another character’s progress is not evidence that this character qualifies.

A third-party Daeva Guides page describes a possible Duty-tab issue in which missions appeared only on the day after a character reached level 45. The page says NCSOFT listed a fix for October 5, but the guide had not confirmed that the fix worked. Treat this as an unverified lead, not as proof that every level-45 character has a bug or that a current fix is available.
- Confirm the character’s current level and the level at which the task should unlock.
- Check whether a prerequisite quest was accepted, completed, or turned in.
- Look in the correct tab; a task may move between a Duty, mission, event, or activity panel.
- Check whether the task is account-wide, character-specific, or limited to a particular service.
Step 4: Account for maintenance and live events
Maintenance can pause, delay, or reschedule an individual activity even when the usual daily or weekly boundary has passed. Events can also replace a normal task, change its availability window, or add a separate event timer. The AION 2 KINA checklist warns that individual activity timing may differ during maintenance or event periods.
Check the client’s notices, the game’s current announcement panel, and the activity description. Compare the time of maintenance with the timer you recorded. A reset that occurs during maintenance may not become visible until the service is available again, while an event may use a separate schedule entirely.

- Do not judge the reset while the server is offline or still processing maintenance.
- Check whether the task is temporarily replaced by an event version.
- Read the notice for the specific service, not only a post for another region.
- After service resumes, reopen the activity and capture the new timer.
Step 5: Separate a missed reset from a display or unlock problem
Use the symptoms to narrow the case without assuming a cause. A timer that has not reached zero is a schedule question. A timer that reached zero but shows the old task can be a display, service, or activity-state issue. A task missing only on one character points more strongly toward an unlock or progression condition than toward a global reset.

What to record before asking for help
The available evidence does not establish a universal fix for an unspecified task that fails to reset. A precise report gives support something they can verify instead of a general statement that “daily missions are broken.” Capture the following in one note:
- Exact task or activity name and the tab where it should appear.
- Character name or identifier, level, and relevant progression milestone.
- Game service, server, and region.
- The timer text exactly as displayed, including its clock label.
- The local date and time when you checked, plus the corresponding UTC time.
- Whether the character met every listed unlock condition.
- Whether maintenance or an event was active at the expected reset.
- The full error message, if one appeared.
- A screenshot showing the task panel and timer, with personal account information hidden.
Include the client version and platform if the support form requests them. Aion2Data’s published checklist was based on client 2.0.6.0 hotfix 1 and Steam build 25800038 as of October 9, 2026, but your installed build may differ after a patch. State the build you actually used rather than assuming the checklist’s version applies to you.

Safe checks you can try without forcing a reset
After recording the evidence, reopen the activity panel and verify the service and character once more. If the game provides a normal relog option, you may sign out and back in to refresh the client view, but this does not force a server-side reset. Do not buy an item, change hardware, or repeatedly reinstall the game on the assumption that those actions will advance a server timer; the sources provide no evidence that they do.
If the task remains unavailable after the displayed timer has passed, submit the recorded details through the game’s current support channel and monitor service-specific notices. Avoid reporting a community schedule as an official guarantee. Say that the in-game countdown expired, identify the service and server, and attach the timestamped screenshot.
How to interpret conflicting reset times
When a guide, a local clock, and the client appear to disagree, compare their bases rather than choosing the earliest time. First identify whether each value is UTC, local time, or a service/server clock. Next check whether the guide describes a daily reset, a weekly reset, or a particular activity. Finally, check for maintenance or an event between the expected boundary and the time you inspected the task.
For the currently reported Global schedule, the daily boundary is 07:00 UTC and the weekly boundary is Wednesday at 07:00 UTC. A local clock can show a different hour for the same instant, and another service can use a different boundary. The activity’s own countdown remains the decisive check for the character and service you are playing.
What is and is not confirmed
Community schedules support using 07:00 UTC daily and Wednesday at 07:00 UTC as provisional Global reference points. The KINA checklist supports checking the in-game timer because services, maintenance, and events can alter individual activity timing. The Daeva Guides page supplies an unconfirmed lead about a Duty-tab issue after reaching level 45.
No official statement reviewed here confirms a universal AION 2 task-reset bug, a single cause for every missed daily or weekly task, or a guaranteed fix. Schedules and patches can change quickly, so use the timer and notices shown by your current client and service.
