Check the relevant steps below, then ask AION 2 Support to verify the character’s reward record if the source remains unclear or the reward still does not appear.
Identify the reward source before troubleshooting
Write down the exact reward name and the place that promised it: a Twitch campaign, a PURPLE livestream, or a named in-game quest or activity. Also note the server, character, and when you completed the requirement. These details matter because Drop eligibility and claiming differ from an in-game reward, and a fix published for one event may not apply to another.
The official materials reviewed do not verify the acquisition route, prerequisites, quantity, or delivery location for the Clash Rune named in this article. They also do not establish whether a particular rune should arrive in inventory, mail, or another interface. Do not assume it was granted—or that a general bug is responsible—until the source and claim or completion status are clear.
If the missing reward is a Twitch Drop
Use the official AION 2 Twitch Drops FAQ to check the campaign’s rules. The FAQ says a player must watch a participating channel for the campaign’s required duration and claim the Drop in Twitch Drops Inventory. Watching alone is not the same as claiming. If the campaign is still active, a missed on-screen claim message does not prevent claiming through the inventory.

Confirm eligibility and claim status
- Check that the campaign was active and the channel was participating.
- Confirm that you met that campaign’s watch-time requirement.
- Open Twitch Drops Inventory and verify whether the specific Drop is marked claimed.
- Check that you play on an AION 2 Global server. The FAQ says Korea and Taiwan server players are not eligible for these Drops.
If you are an eligible Global player and the Drop is shown as claimed but has not arrived, the FAQ directs you to contact Support.
Make sure Twitch is linked to the platform account you actually use
The official AION 2 Steam announcements include an account-linking guide warning that linking the wrong account may prevent Drop delivery. A Steam player should link Steam; a player who accesses the game through NC (PURPLE) should link NC (PURPLE). Compare the linked account with the platform account used to play before changing anything.

Do not create a second link through the NC website as a generic recovery step. The guide warns that doing so can disrupt an existing connection. If the account path is unclear, include that uncertainty when contacting Support rather than experimenting with additional links.
If it was a PURPLE livestream reward
NC published a relog-and-reclaim workaround on September 23 for a particular PURPLE livestream Drop claim issue affecting PC and mobile players. For that specific issue, the notice instructed players to close and reopen the game by relogging or returning to character selection and logging in again, then claim through the chest icon to the left of the minimap. This is an event-specific workaround, not a confirmed fix for every livestream reward or for an in-game Clash Rune. Use it only if your missing reward matches the notice’s PURPLE livestream Drop issue.
If the rune was promised by an in-game quest or activity
The Twitch Drop FAQ and account-linking guide do not establish the rules for an unspecified in-game rune reward. Check the quest or activity’s own completion conditions and any reward or claim prompt available in the game; then inspect the places the activity itself says it uses, such as inventory or mail. The reviewed sources do not establish a universal delivery location or a rune-specific claim button.

Do not apply Twitch eligibility rules, account-linking changes, or the PURPLE livestream workaround to a quest reward unless an official notice explicitly connects them. Give Support the exact quest or activity name and completion time so it can check the correct reward record.

The AION 2 Steam announcements page displayed an “Advanced Access Known Issues (Updated: 10/4)” notice on October 4, 2026. That notice lists issues under investigation but does not list a Clash Rune or rune-reward problem. Its silence does not prove no defect exists; it means the reviewed notice does not confirm one.

Past notices illustrate why the match needs to be specific. A December 17 notice described missed Spacetime Rift completion rewards when completion coincided with the Rift’s end time (PURPLE Lounge notice). A May notice covered a mission-score issue involving Nightmare bosses (PURPLE Lounge notice). Neither identifies the cause of a missing Clash Rune. Check current official notices for the same reward source, activity, region, and timing rather than treating an unrelated reward problem as a diagnosis.
Contact AION 2 Support with enough detail to investigate
If an eligible, claimed Twitch Drop remains missing, follow the FAQ’s direction to contact Support. Do the same for a non-Drop rune when you cannot confirm the source or the documented checks do not resolve it. Include:
- Your platform and account path (Steam or NC/PURPLE), plus the server and region.
- The character name and exact reward name.
- Whether it came from Twitch, a PURPLE livestream, or a named in-game quest or activity.
- The time you met the requirement and, for a Drop, the time you claimed it.
- What you checked in inventory, mail, and any relevant reward interface.
- Screenshots or video showing the reward offer, completion or claim status, and what appears in game.
For an in-game quest or activity reward, ask Support to verify the character’s reward record. The available notices do not establish a universal cause, guaranteed response time, or compensation policy for missing runes.
