What to Do With Stamps on Citadelle des Morts

Take a Stamp to a knight statue in the Dining Hall and interact with it to receive a Bastard Sword. Choose a statue by its animal symbol: that symbol identifies the elemental sword path. The Stamp gets you the base sword; upgrading it takes additional steps.

Where to use a Stamp

1. Obtain a Stamp from a special enemy. Game8 describes these enemies as zombies wearing buckets or helmets.
2. Go to the Dining Hall in the castle, where the knight statues stand.
3. Approach the statue for the sword path you want and interact with it while carrying a Stamp. The statue gives you a Bastard Sword.

How to choose a statue

Look at the animal symbol on each statue to identify the elemental sword path it represents. Pick the statue for the path you want; the Stamp exchange gives you the base Bastard Sword, not a completed elemental upgrade.

What happens after you get the sword

The elemental upgrade is a separate process. For example, Activision’s guide to Citadelle des Morts, published January 15, 2025, describes the fire sword path: place the Bastard Sword in the dragon statue, then carry Aether fire from three braziers back to it.
