For a Pokémon-themed room you can investigate for a regular stay, start with MIMARU’s Pokémon Room collection in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. Its official page lists 10 participating locations, rooms sized 38–60 m² for four to six guests, and booking links. The room design varies, and guests cannot choose a specific design, so check the property, layout and dates in the reservation flow before booking.
Where can you book a Pokémon-themed hotel room?
MIMARU is the clearest regularly bookable option documented for Japan. It is an apartment-hotel group, and its Pokémon Room page currently lists five locations in Tokyo, four in Kyoto and one in Osaka. The individual property matters: choose the hotel that fits your itinerary, then check whether the Pokémon Room is offered and available for your dates.
The operator’s June 30, 2025 announcement identified these properties for the July 1, 2025 room refresh. Treat this as a location list, not confirmation of 2026 inventory; verify current availability on the MIMARU room page.

What is inside a MIMARU Pokémon Room?
MIMARU describes Pokémon details throughout the room: a large Snorlax plush in the bedroom, a Poké Ball-motif dining table, Pokémon-themed kitchen designs with original plates and cups, and a bathroom featuring Water-type Pokémon. The bathroom has a separate toilet and a bathtub. These are room furnishings and design features, not items guests should assume they can take home.
The room page lists a guest novelty set with a laundry bag, drawstring bag, small purse and stickers. It provides one set per group per reservation—not one per guest—and the sticker design cannot be selected.

Will the room fit your group and sleeping needs?
The official page gives a room size of 38–60 m² and capacity of four to six people. Listed sleeping arrangements include loft beds, bunk beds and four single beds. Those figures describe the collection; check the exact room type and sleeping configuration offered by your chosen property and dates rather than assuming every room has the same setup.
Can you choose the Pokémon room design?
No specific design can be selected, according to MIMARU. The page says the design differs by room type, so do not book on the assumption that a particular arrangement or visual detail is guaranteed. If a specific feature is essential, ask the property to confirm it before committing, especially if your booking has restrictive cancellation terms.

What should you verify before paying?
- Select the destination and property: choose among the currently listed Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka locations, then open that property’s booking information.
- Confirm party size and beds: check the capacity and actual sleeping layout for the room available on your dates.
- Review design expectations: remember that guests cannot request a specific room design.
- Separate room features from take-home items: the décor and dishes stay with the room; the listed novelty set is one per reservation group, with an assigned sticker design.
- Check the live booking terms: confirm total price, inventory, payment terms and cancellation deadline in the official reservation flow. These depend on the dates and booking and are not established as fixed terms on the room feature page.
Is the Poké Ball-shaped stay a regular hotel booking?
Not on the evidence of the announcement. On September 15, 2026, NOT A HOTEL described a Poké Ball-shaped lodging experience in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, as a special campaign prize for Pokémon Sleep users. The company said it would not be generally sold or open to the public during the campaign. Do not treat it as ordinary bookable hotel inventory; any later change would need confirmation from NOT A HOTEL’s announcement or current booking information.
