The 2025 Pokémon Presents aired on February 27, Pokémon Day, with updates spanning Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Pokémon Champions, the mainline games, mobile titles, and more. One notable trading-card announcement was the return of Mega Evolution cards to the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game in a 2025 expansion. The available event recap supports these broad highlights, but not a complete segment-by-segment list of reveal details.
When did Pokémon Presents air for Pokémon Day 2025?
The presentation aired on February 27, 2025. Pokémon’s official notice described the date as Pokémon Day because the original Pokémon Red and Green games were released on February 27, 1996. The notice gave the broadcast time as 23:00 Japan time; that is the Japanese local time, not a universal start time. Pokémon’s February 20, 2025 announcement

What were the main Pokémon Day 2025 highlights?
Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon Champions
Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon Champions were among the game properties the official video description identified as subjects of new information. Mega Evolution cards return to the physical Pokémon TCG
The event recap reports that Mega Evolution cards would return to the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game in a 2025 expansion. This refers to the tabletop card game, not the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app. The recap supports the broad announcement, but does not establish a set name, release date, card mechanics, or regional availability. Updates across games, apps, and Pokémon Concierge
The recap also reports updates concerning Scarlet and Violet, Pokémon TCG Pocket, Pokémon GO, Pokémon Masters EX, Pokémon UNITE, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon Café Remix, and Pokémon Concierge. That identifies the range of topics covered; it should not be read as evidence that every title received a major game reveal or that a specific update was available everywhere on the same date.

Later release-date announcements, regional rollouts, and follow-up presentations are separate from what was established at the February 27 broadcast. The event sources support a broad roundup, not a definitive timeline or detailed announcement record for every property. For precise dates or availability, consult the official notice for the particular game or service rather than attributing later-confirmed details to Pokémon Day.
