EB Games’ Pokémon pop-up at Toronto’s Eaton Centre drew more than 500 fans in its opening weekend, according to MobileSyrup’s November 7, 2025 report. The temporary event combined Pokémon collectibles and card-focused attractions with retail shopping; it was scheduled to run through January 15, 2026, so it has now ended.
Where was the EB Games Pokémon pop-up?
The pop-up was held at the Toronto Eaton Centre. MobileSyrup reported on November 7, 2025 that more than 500 fans reportedly lined up for its opening weekend. The report does not establish a separately verified attendance count.
What could visitors see and do?
EB Games’ updated press release, quoted in MobileSyrup, described a space called The Collectors Vault, with a display of rare collectibles, rotating exclusive drops, livestreamed card pulls, photo opportunities with costumed Pokémon characters, a plush-filled claw machine and a large machine filled with trading cards. The release said the cards in that pull machine were valued at $5,000; that was the stated value of its contents, not a prize guaranteed to visitors.
The reporter said they saw the collectible display wall, but felt the rest of the space was largely a retail shop. That firsthand impression is distinct from the attractions EB Games advertised.

Reported event costs and conditions
MobileSyrup’s dated account said a purchase over $75 gave a customer a chance to use the card pull machine, while each claw-machine attempt cost $3. These were the terms reported for the Toronto event in November 2025, not current offers.
When did the event end?
MobileSyrup’s November 7, 2025 article said the pop-up was scheduled to run until January 15, 2026. That date has passed. The article also said a Mega Lucario and Moltres Elite collection launch was planned for the following weekend; it was a launch planned at the time, not an upcoming release now.

The report said EB Games expected to hold more pop-ups across Canada, but it did not establish that additional locations or dates were later confirmed. It therefore does not provide a current schedule for other events.
