Light of the Guardians was a limited-time Halloween crossover in For Honor inspired by Destiny 2. It added a Dominion-style mode set in the Cathedral, Scorn enemies, themed rewards and two character-inspired hero skins. Ubisoft scheduled the event for October 24 through November 14, 2024; it is not a new 2026 event.
What was Light of the Guardians?
Ubisoft announced Light of the Guardians on October 23, 2024, as a Halloween event bringing Destiny 2 themes into For Honor. It was a limited-time event within For Honor, not a separate Destiny release.
The event’s mode adapted Dominion. Players fought to capture points without their own minions while facing the opposing team and Scorn enemies in the Cathedral. Ubisoft described the encounter this way: “The limited-time game mode puts a spin on Domination by removing minions from player teams as they fight to capture points while facing off, not only against the enemy team, but also the terrifying Scorn Baron and his minions who lurk inside the Cathedral map’s walls.” Ubisoft’s October 23, 2024 announcement also listed themed weapons as post-match loot and rewards through a free event pass.

These are skins for existing For Honor heroes, not new heroes or gameplay equipment. The prices are the figures listed at the 2024 launch, not current prices.
When did the event run?
Ubisoft announced that Light of the Guardians would run from October 24 through November 14, 2024. That event window has passed.

Can you still get the Destiny 2 skins?
Ubisoft’s event announcement said some themed items would remain purchasable after the event, but the available official information does not establish whether these skins or other items are on sale now, or what they currently cost. The historical launch prices above should not be treated as current store listings.
