Hamilton Simulator was a Roblox experience launched on August 10, 2023, through a collaboration between Hamilton, gaming company Super League and developer Small World Games. It turned characters, settings and songs from the Broadway musical into a ten-level action game. The launch was real, but the available reporting does not confirm whether the original experience is playable today.
What players did in Hamilton Simulator
Players entered with their own Roblox avatars and followed Alexander Hamilton’s path through a Revolutionary War story. The experience opened at New York’s docks and moved through locations including the Schuyler Mansion ballroom, George Washington’s office and Yorktown. Its goal was to reach the American victory and free the city from British rule—roughly the first half of the stage musical’s story, not a full retelling.

Across ten increasingly difficult levels, players fought enemies, earned coins for victories and unlocked musical characters as companions. Those characters could rap, sing and fight; coins could be used to unlock stronger characters and obtain boosts or resources. Each level featured music from the show, including songs such as “Guns and Ships,” “You’ll Be Back” and “The Schuyler Sisters.”
Who made the Roblox experience?
Hamilton partnered with Super League, which designed and built the experience with Small World Games. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton’s creator and the originator of its title role, endorsed the collaboration. Super League executive Matt Edelman said the aim was to introduce the musical to Roblox players who did not know it and to honor or inspire fans who already did.
The adaptation drew on a musical based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton. The Broadway League describes the score as blending hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway; Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the book, music and lyrics, with Thomas Kail directing, Andy Blankenbuehler choreographing and Alex Lacamoire overseeing music and orchestrations. Miranda’s official Hamilton project page lists Chernow’s biography among related products; it is the source material for the musical, not a game guide or game tie-in.
Is Hamilton Simulator still playable on Roblox?
Its launch on Roblox was reported on August 10, 2023, but the available coverage does not establish its current status. Search results may also show other experiences with “Hamilton” in the title; listings reviewed for those separate experiences explicitly disclaim association with the established musical or franchise. Their presence does not confirm that the 2023 collaboration remains available, nor should they be mistaken for it.

Did the experience cost real money?
The Associated Press reported at launch that players did not need to pay real money to play. That statement describes the experience as covered in 2023; it does not establish whether purchases were available elsewhere on Roblox or whether the experience’s later monetization changed.

In its August 10, 2023 launch coverage, the Associated Press reported that Super League executive Matt Edelman cited 66 million daily active Roblox users worldwide. This is a dated figure attributed to Edelman in 2023, not a current platform statistic.

For readers interested in the musical beyond the game, Miranda’s official Hamilton page links to Ron Chernow’s biography, the Broadway cast recording and a vocal selections book. These are related reading and listening resources, not Roblox content.
