What launched on October 31?
The Steam Community announcement, dated October 31, 2024, announced that multiplayer was out and labeled the release a Major Update. The publisher-attributed release described it as a free Steam update. The date refers to the 2024 launch; the available announcements do not confirm a separate October 31, 2026 update.
The Steam announcement also mentioned new music and said the developers expected to monitor community reports and work on patches and fixes. That described their plans at launch, not the game’s current support status.
What did the multiplayer update add?
Online matches for two to four players
The new mode supports two to four players. The publisher’s release described the launch with the promotional line, “Two to four players enter – only one will leave.” That is marketing copy, not a guarantee about every match’s outcome.

The Jammer and Inverter
- Jammer: Skips a player’s turn.
- Inverter: Reverses the table’s turn order.
The release announcement identifies these as new multiplayer items.
How does this relate to the earlier game?
Before the update, coverage described Buckshot Roulette as focused on play against the Dealer. The October 2024 release added online multiplayer for groups of two to four, rather than announcing a replacement for that earlier mode.

What was announced before launch?
On October 18, 2024, Game8 reported that developer Mike Klubnika had announced the October 31 date on October 17. Its pre-release coverage also mentioned customized rounds as expected content. The post-launch announcement confirms the multiplayer release, but the sources cited here do not establish customized rounds as a feature that shipped.

The available announcements establish the October 31, 2024 multiplayer launch, not a new 2026 release. They also do not establish current prices, later patches, or support for platforms beyond Steam. Treat claims of a 2026 October 31 update as unconfirmed unless a new announcement verifies them.
