If you mean the original licensed North American release run, the last Game Boy Advance game was Samurai Deeper Kyo, released on February 12, 2008. But there is no single answer for every region or for later cartridge releases: Japan and Europe had different final releases, and a GBA-era project, Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution, was completed and issued on a GBA-compatible cartridge years later.
The last GBA game in North America’s original release run
Samurai Deeper Kyo is conventionally identified as the final licensed Game Boy Advance release in North America. It came out on February 12, 2008, bundled with a DVD set. The GBA games list describes it as the system’s final licensed release.

That is the clearest answer to the usual historical question, but its scope matters: it refers to North America’s original licensed release period, not every region or every GBA-compatible cartridge released later.
Final releases listed for Japan and Europe
The platform overview gives different regional endpoints:

| Region | Title | Release date |

| Japan | Final Fantasy VI Advance | November 30, 2006 |
| Europe | The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night | November 2, 2007 |
The same overview identifies Final Fantasy VI Advance as Nintendo’s final published GBA title in Japan. These are region-specific accounts from the platform overview, not a claim that either game was the final release worldwide.
Why later GBA cartridges make “last” less clear
Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution
Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution began as a GBA-era project that was paused in 2004. WayForward and Limited Run Games later completed it using its original early-2000s code and released it on a GBA-compatible cartridge. WayForward’s current game page lists Game Boy Advance as a platform.

- This renewed game will not come with the original case or manual; cartridge only. It has been cleaned, tested, and is in nice condition.
WayForward’s announcement called it “the last GBA game,” while series director Matt Bozon described it as “an actual GBA-era title that was lost to time,” rather than a demake or a new retro-style game. That wording reflects the project’s unusual history; it does not change the answer for the original North American licensed release run. Bozon’s statement
Sigma Star Saga DX and the rerelease question
WayForward’s October 2025 post describes Sigma Star Saga DX as an enhanced version of its 2005 GBA game and says a GBA cartridge version had been offered. The post does not establish when that cartridge was released relative to other later GBA-compatible cartridges. WayForward’s post

So if “last” means the latest GBA-compatible cartridge of any kind, including later rereleases, the available dates do not establish a definitive all-time answer.
