That is a historical launch announcement, not confirmation of the Warbond’s current availability or present-day game balance.
What the announcement said about the launch
PlayStation Blog published Katherine Baskin’s announcement on April 4, 2024, and gave April 11, 2024 as the deployment date for the Democratic Detonation Premium Warbond. Baskin, Social Media and Community Manager at Arrowhead Game Studios, wrote: “A new Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond has been deployed to all fighting units on frontlines across the galaxy on April 11.” That is the announcement’s fictional in-universe phrasing and historical launch statement.

Which weapons and explosives were listed?
Primary weapons
- BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle: described as an armor-penetrating assault rifle intended for smaller groups.
- R-36 Eruptor Rifle: a bolt-action rifle that fires jet-assisted shells, scattering shrapnel on impact.

It also stated that a PSN account was required and that PS5 gameplay required internet access and a paid PlayStation Plus membership, sold separately. These are the conditions stated in the 2024 post; it does not verify whether the terms remain unchanged today.
