PUBG MOBILE announced Version 3.6 on January 8, 2025. Its Sacred Quartet theme brought unusual combat and vehicle mechanics, including a Panda players can ride and a Welding Gun that can repair or damage vehicles. Those features make a case for calling the update a personal favorite—but the official material does not establish it as the game’s best-ever update.
What defined PUBG MOBILE Version 3.6?
The update’s central theme was Sacred Quartet. Rather than presenting a comparative ranking, PUBG MOBILE’s official Sacred Quartet feature page describes a set of themed gameplay additions alongside changes to World of Wonder.
How does the Welding Gun work?
The Welding Gun is a short-range tool in the Pistol slot. PUBG MOBILE says it can restore the Health of an allied vehicle or deplete the Health of an enemy vehicle. Its ammo cannot be replenished, so it is a limited-use tactical option rather than a conventional firearm with an ongoing supply of ammunition.
What can the Panda do?
The Panda can be found in the bamboo forest and has two forms. In its basic form, players can use firearms. Its rolling form is more defensive and can carry passengers quickly; after taking a certain amount of damage, it switches back to its basic form. The official feature description does not give a specific damage threshold or travel speed.

What changed in World of Wonder?
Version 3.6 also brought additions and usability changes to the creation mode. The official summary identifies:
- Football-themed creations.
- Lunar New Year decorative objects.
- Improved team-up options.
- Usability improvements for creators.
The summary does not detail each usability change, so the page supports these broad categories rather than a more specific feature-by-feature breakdown.

Is Version 3.6 really the GOAT?
“GOAT” is a fan verdict, not a conclusion demonstrated by the available official material. The described mix of a vehicle-focused tool, a rideable Panda with different forms, and creator-mode additions gives players clear reasons to enjoy the update. But PUBG MOBILE’s announcement and Sacred Quartet page do not compare Version 3.6 with earlier updates or document player reception, so they cannot establish an objective best-ever ranking.
