Nuketown was released for Black Ops 6 Multiplayer on November 1, 2024, one week after the game launched on October 25. Call of Duty described it as an updated version of the 1950s map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. Call of Duty’s October 29, 2024 announcement set the release date.

Can you play Nuketown right now?

Its original release date does not establish that Nuketown is in the current playlist rotation. The official announcements cited here do not confirm its availability on October 8, 2026, so check the Multiplayer playlist lineup in-game rather than relying on an old schedule or playlist post.

Nuketown is a Multiplayer map, and the maps and modes available can depend on the playlist you select. A dated example: Treyarch’s November 8, 2024 preseason patch notes included Nuketown in the 10v10 Moshpit map pool, alongside Red Card, Rewind, Vault, Vorkuta, Lowtown, Derelict, Skyline, and Scud. How to try to get Nuketown in a match

1. Open Multiplayer and review the current playlist lineup.
2. Choose a playlist that lists Nuketown among its maps, if one is available.
3. When the pre-game lobby offers map voting, vote for Nuketown. The official Multiplayer guide explains that players may vote between two maps or map-and-mode combinations when the playlist permits it. A Classified option is random. Voting improves your chance of playing the selected map, but does not guarantee Nuketown will be offered or chosen.

Which Nuketown version do you mean?

Black Ops 6 has had themed versions as well as the original. Official announcements tied these variants to specific seasonal periods and playlists; those dated appearances do not show that every version is currently selectable.
