EA SPORTS College Football 25 launched worldwide on July 19, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Buyers of the Deluxe Edition or EA SPORTS MVP Bundle were offered access three days earlier.
College Football 25 release date
EA announced on May 16, 2024, that EA SPORTS College Football 25 would launch worldwide on July 19, 2024. The announcement described July 19 as the worldwide launch date; the PlayStation Store listing also records the PS5 release as July 19, 2024. EA’s announcement and PlayStation’s listing confirm the date.

Early access and launch date
EA’s May 2024 announcement offered three-day early access to buyers of the Deluxe Edition or EA SPORTS MVP Bundle. That early-access window was separate from the July 19 worldwide launch; it was a launch-era offer, not a current promotion. EA’s reveal page states that the game launched worldwide on July 19, 2024.

Which platforms did it launch on?
EA announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the launch platforms. The announcement does not list PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch as launch platforms. EA’s May 16, 2024 announcement gives the platform details.

What was included at launch?
In its July 19, 2024 launch announcement, EA said the game featured all 134 FBS universities and more than 150 stadiums. The cover athletes named in the release-date announcement were Donovan Edwards, Quinn Ewers, and Travis Hunter. EA’s launch announcement provides the team and stadium figures; its release-date announcement names the cover athletes.
