The season timeline lists “Chapter 5 Season 5,” also titled “Chapter Two Remix,” as starting on November 2, 2024. That date is in the past: this is a historical season, not one players are waiting to begin. The timeline’s label does not, by itself, confirm that Epic Games officially called it “Chapter 5 Season 5.”
Chapter 5 Season 5 start date
Pro Game Guides’ Fortnite season timeline lists November 2, 2024, as the start of the period it calls “Chapter 5 Season 5 / Chapter Two Remix.” It lists November 30, 2024, as the end date.
So, if you are looking up the Chapter 5 Season 5 start date, the timeline’s answer is November 2, 2024. More precisely, this is the date reported by that third-party timeline; the available evidence here does not establish “Chapter 5 Season 5” as Epic’s official name for the season.
When did Chapter Two Remix start?
Under the “Chapter Two Remix” title used by the timeline, the reported start date is also November 2, 2024. The two labels refer to the same period in that timeline, rather than to two separate season starts.

Quick Recap
Rank #4
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
