Hatsune Miku made her Fortnite debut as the featured Icon for Fortnite Festival Season 7, which ran from January 14 to April 8, 2025. The collaboration brought Miku outfits, Jam Tracks, instruments and other digital items to the game. Epic later listed Snow Miku in its Winterfest 2025 shop announcement, but neither listing establishes that any Miku item is available in the Item Shop now.
When did Hatsune Miku come to Fortnite?
Epic announced Miku as the Fortnite Festival Season 7 Icon on January 13, 2025. The season began with update v33.20 on January 14 and ended April 8, 2025. Epic described it as a limited-time season, not a permanent addition to Fortnite.

Epic’s Season 7 announcement introduced the collaboration and its digital content. The season’s Music Pass had one track of free and premium rewards, and players could earn pass XP in any Fortnite experience. At announcement, the premium Music Pass cost 1,400 V-Bucks or was included with Fortnite Crew; those are historical terms, not a current offer.
How could players get Hatsune Miku items?
Season 7 distributed content through both its Music Pass and the Item Shop. Epic said Music Pass rewards were not exclusive to the pass and “may become purchasable in the Shop at a later date.” That wording leaves a later sale possible, not guaranteed.

Epic’s Season 7 Shop list named three Miku-related Jam Tracks:

These were among the Season 7 offerings; the announcement does not establish their current Shop availability. Epic also included specific creator guidance for these tracks at the time: YouTube monetization required linked YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts, and the stated initial monetization treatment applied only during the season’s first seven days. After that, rights-holder claims could occur. Epic warned that Twitch VODs or clips could be flagged by third-party copyright detection and recommended disabling them when streaming eligible tracks. Creators should check current platform and rights-holder rules rather than relying on those dated instructions.
Was there a Hatsune Miku car bundle?
Yes. Epic separately offered a Hatsune Miku Cyclone Bundle with the Cyclone Car Body and decals. Epic specified that the included decals worked only with the Cyclone body.

Is Snow Miku in Fortnite?
Epic’s Winterfest 2025 announcement listed Snow Miku among the Shop offerings for the event running December 18, 2025 through January 5, 2026. Snow Miku was a later listing, distinct from the Hatsune Miku and Neko Hatsune Miku outfits associated with Festival Season 7. The Winterfest announcement is a dated event listing, not proof that Snow Miku is available today.

Epic Support says the Item Shop rotates and advises players to check back when an item is unavailable. It does not promise that a particular Miku item will return. Epic’s statement that Music Pass rewards “may become purchasable” later is likewise not a guarantee.

Epic’s support guidance about certain Battle Pass items released after August 7, 2024 says they may become available in the Shop at least 18 months after the pass expires, with no guarantee. That conditional policy concerns eligible Battle Pass items; it should not be treated as a return date or promise for any specific Miku outfit, song, instrument or vehicle item. See Epic’s Item Shop return guidance for its current wording.
