When did Sunday come out in Honkai: Star Rail?
Sunday debuted in Version 2.7, titled “A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn.” HoYoverse’s November 22, 2024 announcement set the update’s launch for December 4. The official update details listed maintenance starting at 06:00 UTC+8 on December 4, with an estimated duration of approximately five hours; that is the maintenance schedule, not a universal launch time for every region.
The PlayStation Blog announcement introduced Sunday as a five-star Imaginary character. HoYoverse’s Version 2.7 update details, published December 3, identify his path as Harmony.
What does Sunday do?
Sunday is a support character who helps an ally act sooner and improves that ally’s combat output. In the announcement, Honkai: Star Rail Technical Lead Yang Yu described his Skill this way: “As a 5-star Imaginary character, Sunday has unique Support capacities, and his Skill causes an ally to immediately take action and increase their DMG dealt.”
