Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered as available on April 22, 2025. That was the actual release date, not just an early-2025 target. Bethesda’s launch announcement describes it as an update to the 2006 game, with refreshed visuals and refined gameplay.
Which platforms were available at launch?
Bethesda’s April 2025 launch announcement listed Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Game Pass. Game Pass is a subscription access option rather than a hardware platform, and eligibility depends on the current service and plan.
Did Oblivion Remastered come to Nintendo Switch 2?
Nintendo Switch 2 was not among the platforms in Bethesda’s 2025 launch announcement. Bethesda’s current game page lists Switch 2 availability and includes platform-update entries dated August 11 and September 17, 2026. That is later availability, separate from the original launch.
