THQ Nordic announced that the first Titan Quest II gameplay trailer would premiere during its Showcase on August 2, 2024. That was the scheduled premiere date given in the publisher’s July 10 announcement; it does not, by itself, confirm the trailer’s eventual publication time or describe its scenes.
What the 2024 announcement confirmed
On July 10, 2024, THQ Nordic said the community had been asking for gameplay footage and scheduled the first trailer’s premiere for its August 2 Showcase. The announcement also said gamescom attendees could experience the game from August 21–25, 2024. Those dates describe the plans announced in 2024, not current availability. THQ Nordic’s announcement
The game is developed by Grimlore Games and published by THQ Nordic. The Showcase trailer listing described it as an action RPG inspired by Greek mythology and named PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as planned platforms at the time. Official Showcase 2024 trailer listing
What is known about the trailer’s footage?
The cited announcement confirms the planned premiere, but does not provide a scene-by-scene description. The official trailer listing supports the game’s genre and mythological inspiration, not specific claims about what the video shows. It would therefore be misleading to attribute particular enemies, locations, or combat sequences to that first trailer based on these descriptions alone.
