Genshin Impact Version 4.5 was scheduled to release on March 13, 2024, following a maintenance period that was expected to begin at 06:00 (UTC+8) that day. The published schedule does not confirm when maintenance actually ended, so no verified end time can be given for that update.
Version 4.5 release date
The Version 4.5 update was scheduled for March 13, 2024. The game was set to update to the new version once maintenance finished. The update is now well over two years old, so this is a historical schedule rather than a current one.
Maintenance start and end times
A community repost of HoYoverse’s Version 4.5 Update Maintenance Preview says maintenance was expected to begin at 06:00 (UTC+8) on March 13, 2024. That is the only maintenance time the source establishes.
- Planned start: 06:00 (UTC+8), March 13, 2024.
- Planned end: not stated in the source. The preview does not give a completion time.
- Actual end: not verified. A planned start does not prove when servers came back or when the update went live.
Converting the planned start to other time zones
Because the source gives its start time in UTC+8, the table below shows the same moment in other common zones. These are straight conversions of that planned start, not confirmed server times.

How to check a current or past maintenance schedule
For any Genshin Impact update, the most reliable source is HoYoverse’s own announcement, which typically lists the maintenance start, the expected duration and the update time. Use these steps to find it:
- Open the official Genshin Impact website or its social accounts and look for the version maintenance notice.
- Confirm the time zone in the notice. Most HoYoverse schedules list UTC+8 alongside other zones.
- Check the notice for an expected end or duration, and treat it as an estimate until the in-game announcement confirms completion.
- If you need the exact moment the update went live, look for the post-maintenance announcement, since it is the first confirmation that servers are back.
Limits of this information
The available source is a community repost of HoYoverse’s preview, not the original official page. It supports the planned start and the sequence of release after maintenance, but not the actual completion time. Read the planned start as an expectation, not a record of what happened.
