Fortnite Chapter 7 is already live. As of October 8, 2026, Epic identifies the current season as Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. Epic lists the Battle Pass as ending November 1, 2026 Eastern Time; that date is for the Battle Pass, not a confirmed end date for Chapter 7.
Is Fortnite Chapter 7 out yet?
Yes. Epic’s Fortnite page says the new season is live and labels its Battle Pass “Override — Chapter 7 Season 4.” The Epic Games Store’s This week in Fortnite page also identifies Chapter 7 Season 4: Override.

That means players do not need to wait for Chapter 7 to begin. The game’s base version is listed as free on the Epic Games Store, rather than as a separate paid chapter release.
What date does Epic currently show?
Epic lists the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass as ending November 1, 2026 Eastern Time. This is a Battle Pass timing detail, not confirmation that Chapter 7 itself ends on that date. The page gives a date and timezone, not a universal local launch hour for every platform.

When did Chapter 7 originally launch?
The exact original Chapter 7 launch date is not established by the reviewed official pages. Epic’s news index contains dated entries, including a November 30, 2025 listing, but that index does not identify the chapter’s launch date. A nearby event or news date should not be treated as the chapter release date.

How to check the current status
- Open Epic’s Fortnite page and check the Battle Pass label for the current chapter and season.
- Read the end-date label as the Battle Pass date; do not assume it gives the end date for the entire chapter.
- For a second official listing, check Epic Games Store’s This week in Fortnite page.
