There is no single Bedrock file location for every device. On Windows, the current main release stores its shared game data under %appdata%Minecraft Bedrockuserssharedgamescom.mojang. On Android, worlds appear in the externally browsable save folder only if their storage location was set to External. Use the platform and storage setting below to find the right route.
Windows: find the Bedrock com.mojang folder
For the current main release, Microsoft documents this directory:

- Press Win+R to open Run, or open File Explorer and use its address bar.
- Enter
%appdata%Minecraft Bedrockuserssharedgamescom.mojangand press Enter. - Open
minecraftWorldsto find worlds generated in the current build. Other folders incom.mojanghold content such as behavior, resource, skin, and development packs.
If you browse to the folder rather than entering the path directly and cannot see AppData, turn on Hidden items in File Explorer. These directions apply to the main release; preview builds may use a different folder, and the Windows account context can affect which content is visible. Back up minecraftWorlds before installing a new build. Microsoft Learn’s Bedrock add-on guide documents the folder and its contents.

Android: check the world’s storage setting
The direct folder path applies to worlds saved with Minecraft’s External storage location:
Android/data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds

Connect the phone to a computer with a USB data cable, choose File Transfer or MTP when prompted, then copy the entire minecraftWorlds folder or the particular world directory you need. Minecraft’s backup instructions make the External setting a condition for copying worlds directly this way.
If the world uses Application storage, do not assume it will appear in that Android folder. Follow Minecraft Help’s Realm transfer instructions instead of relying on direct file browsing. Minecraft Help explains the storage distinction and backup options.

iPhone, iPad, and consoles: avoid assuming a universal path
iOS
A community Bedrock development guide lists My iDevice > Minecraft > games > com.mojang as an iOS location. Current file access and behavior may depend on the iOS and Minecraft versions, and that path is not confirmed here by current official Apple or Minecraft support instructions. Treat it as a possible lead rather than a guaranteed location.
Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation
Do not rely on a generic console filesystem path or USB procedure: the available platform-specific details are insufficient to establish current steps. For worlds that need to move between devices, consult the applicable Minecraft and console support instructions; Realm transfer is the route discussed for some console cases.

Import a world or pack without browsing to its save folder
If your goal is to add downloaded content, you may not need to locate minecraftWorlds manually:
- Open a
.mcworldfile to import a world. It then appears in Minecraft’s Play screen. - Open a
.mcpackfile to import a pack. Find it in the relevant Behavior Pack or Resource Pack tab.
On Windows, the com.mojang directory also contains separate folders for worlds and packs, so use the relevant folder when managing files manually. Microsoft’s import guide covers these file types.

Back up before moving or updating
Before you install a new build or attempt a manual transfer, make a separate copy of the world folder you intend to keep. On Windows, copy minecraftWorlds from the documented com.mojang directory. On Android, direct copying is for worlds using External storage; use Minecraft’s Realm transfer guidance for Application storage worlds.
