Check the summary and each relevant transaction category, then look in your account inbox for a notice that Robux was removed after a refund. A balance change alone does not reveal its cause.
Check your Roblox transaction history
Roblox’s browser instructions say to sign in to the account where the Robux was purchased or earned, select the Robux icon and balance, and open My Transactions. Start with the summary of Robux coming in and going out. Then inspect the categories that could explain the change:
- Currency purchases and Premium stipend for Robux added to the account.
- Purchases for virtual items and passes.
- Sales, creator rewards, and group payouts for other account activity.
Roblox also describes balance lookup in its mobile app and on Xbox, but the detailed transaction-history steps it provides are for a browser. See Roblox’s instructions for finding Robux and using My Transactions.
Look for a refund notice in your inbox
Roblox says a processed refund request related to a purchase can result in the Robux being removed from the account. It says the account receives a direct message explaining that the purchase was refunded and the Robux removed. If you find a matching notice, compare it with the dates and activity in My Transactions. Not finding a notice does not, by itself, establish what caused the balance change. Tell a pending payment hold from a Robux transaction
A small pending card entry may be an Xsolla verification charge rather than a completed Robux purchase. Roblox describes the verification micro-transaction as typically USD $0.20–$0.90; the verification code is valid for 3 hours. Roblox says the verification amount is credited back within 1–10 working days. If the purchase is not verified, the purchase is refused, though a pending security charge may remain visible temporarily and take 1–10 business days to reverse. These timelines concern the verification payment, not resolution of a Robux balance discrepancy.
Roblox Support says of pending verification charges specifically: “These pending security charges are not sent to Roblox.” See Roblox’s Xsolla verification-charge guidance.

If a real-money charge looks unauthorized
First identify which company processed the payment by checking the billing entry and the platform where the purchase was made. Roblox’s billing guidance distinguishes purchases handled by Roblox or Xsolla from app-store and console purchases, which may need to be reported to the platform’s support team. Report suspicious charges promptly through the appropriate route; a report does not guarantee a refund.
Roblox’s terms say that disputing a charge directly through a payment processor can limit the assistance Roblox can provide, including a refund, because of that provider’s dispute process. Check the terms that apply in your location before deciding how to proceed; the linked terms are hosted under a regional path. Gather the details before contacting support
Keep your Roblox username, the relevant transaction dates, and any order or receipt details available. Roblox’s receipt guidance says a receipt sent to Roblox should show the order number, billing address, Roblox product, and purchase amount. Its guidance points to purchase histories for platforms including Amazon, Apple, Google Play, Microsoft, Xbox, Xsolla, and Samsung. See Roblox’s receipt-finding guidance.
Your transaction history, inbox, and payment records are the evidence needed to identify an individual balance change. If those records do not explain it, contact Roblox Support or the payment platform that handled the charge, depending on what the records show.
