Archie is in Mara Sov’s throne room at the end of the Dreaming City quest. Start by investigating his paw prints beside Ada-1’s area in the Tower Annex, then follow the clues through the Blind Well, Harbinger’s Seclude, and a cave in the Divalian Mists. The last step is to defeat an Ogre, present its Offering to the Oracle, and enter the portal.
Start the Archie quest in the Tower Annex
- Go to the Tower Annex and find Archie’s usual spot outside Ada-1’s area.
- Investigate the glowing paw prints, then speak with Ada-1 to begin the quest.
- Travel to the Dreaming City and speak with Petra Venj. Her location rotates with the curse week, so follow the current quest marker instead of using a fixed location from an older guide. Historical walkthroughs placed her in The Strand during the week of May 21, 2024. Destructoid’s walkthrough is one guide to the route.
Follow Archie’s paw-print clues
1. The Blind Well entrance
Return to the Divalian Mists and follow the paw prints at the Blind Well entrance. If the Blind Well is not selectable from the destination map, go through the large archway from the Mists and follow the path to its entrance.

2. Huginn and Muninn’s skulls
Next, head to the Ahamkara skull area in Harbinger’s Seclude. The route can be approached through the northeast Rheasilvia temple and a hole in the floor, or by passing through the Confluence portals. Follow the quest marker if it is available, then look for the prints near the skulls and statue. The Game Post’s guide describes an alternate route through this area.
3. The cat-associated cave in the Divalian Mists
Return to the Divalian Mists and head toward the Rheasilvia tunnel. Drop from the cliff edge onto the lower ledges, then enter the small cave or tunnel. Archie’s paw prints are at the end.

Reach Archie in Mara Sov’s throne room
- Follow the route toward the Spire of Keres and defeat the Ascendant/Taken Ogre.
- Pick up the Offering to the Oracle that the Ogre drops.
- Take the Offering to the Oracle and present it to open the portal.
- Enter the portal to Mara Sov’s throne room. Archie is beside the throne; interact with him and choose “Pawsitive Reinforcement.”
Walkthroughs published in May 2024 agree on this clue sequence and ending, although their descriptions of the route into Harbinger’s Seclude differ. Use the quest marker to resolve the exact path in your current instance. EIP Gaming’s walkthrough and Hindustan Times’ guide also cover the steps.

After interacting with Archie, travel back to the Tower Annex and speak with Ada-1 to complete the quest. A May 2024 guide reported an Ahamkara Bone and 10 Trophies of Bravery as the reward; check the quest reward shown in your current game, since that report is historical rather than a current confirmation.
