To find Archie in the EDZ, take the quest from Ada-1 in the Tower Annex, speak with Devrim Kay in Trostland, then follow four paw-print clues: the damaged building near the church, the Outskirts fishing shore, the Cabal ship at Echion Hold, and the Dark Forest. The last stop ends in a fight where you disable jammers before you can damage the Centurion and free Archie.
Start the Archie quest
- In the Tower Annex, investigate the paw prints near Archie’s usual spot, then speak with Ada-1 to pick up the quest.
- Travel to the EDZ and speak with Devrim Kay inside the Trostland church.
The quest’s clues lead through the EDZ in the following order. At each destination, look for and investigate the paw prints to advance.

Follow the EDZ paw-print clues
1. Damaged building near the Trostland church
Follow the fireplace clue to the damaged building close to the church. The 2024 walkthroughs identify this as the fireplace location associated with the Hawkmoon/HARBINGER area. Search inside the building for Archie’s paw prints and investigate them.
2. Fishing spot in the Outskirts
The next clue points to the EDZ Outskirts fishing spot. Go to the shore and investigate the paw prints by the water.

3. Cabal ship at Echion Hold
For the clue about a ship full of tanks and space rhinos, head to Echion Hold in the Sunken Isles. Look for the Cabal ship near the Arms Dealer Strike entrance and its ramp, then investigate the paw prints.
4. Dark Forest, reached from The Sludge
Travel to The Sludge and use it to reach the Dark Forest. The clue identifies the destination, but not every turn along the route; follow the path through the jammer-blocked area and the Taken portals until you reach the final arena. If you are unsure whether you are progressing, look for the next portal or route opening after dealing with the jammer in your way.
Disable the jammers and free Archie
In the final arena, defeat the enemies and disable the jammers. They protect the Centurion’s shield, so the Centurion cannot be damaged effectively until the jammers are dealt with. Once its shield is down, defeat the Centurion.
- Clear enemies around the arena and locate the active jammers.
- Disable the jammers protecting the Centurion.
- Defeat the Centurion once its shield is no longer protected.
- Approach Archie and interact with him to offer “Pawsitive Reinforcement.”
- Return to Ada-1 in the Tower Annex to finish the quest.
Availability and reward caveat
This route is documented in 2024 walkthroughs, not current official Bungie instructions. GameLud reported that the EDZ quest appeared after the May 7, 2024 weekly reset and would expire at the May 14 reset. Those dates describe the quest’s historical window; the available sources do not establish whether it can still be accessed today or whether its steps have changed. ONE Esports and other 2024 guides list Devrim’s Favourite Mug and 10 Trophy of Bravery as rewards, but those are historical guide reports, not a verified current reward list.
