The closest bench before the Mantis Lords fight is in Mantis Village, directly above the arena. Rest there before dropping down to challenge the Lords; it is identified as the last rest before the fight.
Where to find the bench before the fight

Go to Mantis Village in the Fungal Wastes. The Mantis Lords’ arena is at the bottom of the village.

Look above the arena for the village bench. The Fungal Wastes map guide identifies it as the last rest before the Mantis Lords.

Rest at the bench before heading down into the arena. If you are defeated, this is the nearby checkpoint for returning to the fight.

The location and route are described by community-maintained reference pages and an interactive map, rather than an official developer map. They do not give an exact distance or travel time.
What changes after defeating the Mantis Lords?
Defeating the Lords opens access to the rest of Mantis Village, including another bench, and the Mantis Tribe stops attacking. The Mantis Lords reference page describes these changes. The bench above the arena is still the relevant one for a pre-fight rest; it is not only a post-boss reward.

Other nearby Fungal Wastes benches
Bretta’s cell and Queen’s Station also have benches in the Fungal Wastes, but neither is identified as the last rest before the arena. Bretta’s cell is southeast of Mantis Village; Queen’s Station’s bench is beside its Stag platform. The area map guide lists these alternatives.
