Open the gallery from the Roblox menu, then use the capture’s save icon to copy it to your phone’s camera roll or your computer’s Pictures folder.
Find an in-experience screenshot in Roblox
Roblox says, “Screenshots are saved to your Roblox app storage.” That means a capture made with Roblox’s in-experience feature may not show up in your operating system’s photo or file browser until you save a copy out of the app.
- Join a Roblox experience.
- Open the Roblox menu in the upper-left area of the screen.
- Choose Captures.
- Select the screenshot you want to view in the gallery.
These are Roblox Support’s current instructions for its in-experience screenshot feature.
Save a capture to your device
Open the capture in the gallery and select its save icon. Roblox identifies the destination as your device’s camera roll on mobile or the Pictures folder on desktop. Check that destination after saving; the original gallery capture and a saved device copy are distinct.

Save gallery captures before uninstalling Roblox
Deleting the Roblox application also deletes screenshots still held in its app storage. Save any images you want to keep to your device’s camera roll or Pictures folder before removing the app.
Was it a Roblox capture or a regular screenshot?
If you used your device’s screenshot shortcut rather than Roblox’s Captures feature, look for the image using your operating system’s normal screenshot workflow. Roblox Support describes these methods for desktop:

- Windows: Press Print Screen; some systems use Ctrl + Print Screen.
- Mac: Press Command + Shift + 3 for the full screen or Command + Shift + 4 to select an area.
These are separate from the Roblox in-experience Captures gallery. Roblox’s general screenshot instructions also use older in-experience wording, including a Record tab. If you still see that interface, follow its on-screen prompt; the feature-specific guide documents the current Captures menu.

Roblox documents the in-app gallery and the save destinations, but does not give a universal internal folder path for every desktop and mobile platform. Use the Captures menu to locate an unsaved in-experience image, then save it to the documented device destination rather than relying on an unverified path.
