The most realistic place to buy the original 2005 PC release of Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a used physical copy from a marketplace such as eBay. The official EA and Steam pages that come up for “Most Wanted” are for the 2012 game, a separate release, so they cannot confirm a current sale of the 2005 PC version. Some 2005 PC copies are sold as the Black Edition rather than the standard edition. Read the listing for the edition name, because it tells you which version you are getting.

Digital keys and downloads
If you see a digital key or download for the 2005 game, check the seller carefully. EA’s official support page says it cannot help with purchases from unauthorized digital retailers when a key or product code is disabled. Will the 2005 disc run on your PC?
Search results cannot confirm that a particular copy installs or runs on a current Windows setup.
