007 First Light has 10 postcard collectibles. Collecting all ten unlocks The World Is Not Enough trophy. They are distributed across ten missions, and each pickup is tied to a named checkpoint, room or landmark. This guide gives the route, the required gadget and the safest cleanup method for every postcard.

What you need before collecting postcards
Unlock the Q-Watch
The Q-Watch becomes available after its Chapter 4 unlock. It highlights nearby collectibles, making it the most useful general-purpose tool for a first run and for checking rooms you have already passed. The highlight does not replace the route directions: several postcards are above, behind or inside a specific room rather than sitting directly on the main path.

The Laser Strap becomes available in Chapter 9 and is specifically required for the Mauritania postcard. The item is behind a padlock on a fenced section of the Black Market, so the postcard cannot be reached by simply walking to the desk.

If you reach the Black Market without the Laser Strap, VGC’s route advises restarting from the second-last checkpoint of the preceding mission. From there, return to Q-Labs, equip the laser and then proceed to the market. This is a route-specific recovery option, not a requirement for the other nine postcards.
Use the Dart Phone when a route benefits from it
The Dart Phone unlocks in Chapter 5 and is listed by PowerPyx as another useful gadget for collectible routes. It is not identified as a mandatory requirement for any of the ten postcard pickups in the location list, so do not restart a mission solely because it is not equipped.
Understand saving and progress tracking
PowerPyx reports that picking up a collectible saves it immediately and that missed items remain available through Chapter Select after the story. VGC nevertheless recommends collecting the postcard, returning to the menu and allowing the game to save before closing the session. Following both precautions gives you a reliable cleanup routine.

There is no chapter-based postcard tracker. Check the collectible section of the in-game menu by collectible type instead. The game contains 92 collectibles in total: 10 postcards, 36 playing cards, 23 Intel files, 14 Mementos and 9 Legacy Items. A total collectible count therefore does not tell you which postcard is missing.
All ten postcard routes
1. Iceland — Against All Odds, Central Camp
Continue until you gain control of Bond at Central Camp. Move toward the B2 container that overlooks the enemy camp. Enter the container and check the desk inside. The Iceland postcard is on that desk.
An enemy is present in the container, so look before interacting with the pickup. If you are using the Q-Watch, the signal should help confirm that you are at the correct container, but the B2 marking and the overlook are the decisive landmarks.
2. Malta — The Needle’s Eye, Basic Training
Play through the car sequence. Once you regain the on-foot route, find the small table holding water bottles. The Malta postcard is on this table. It is a short detour, so collect it before advancing away from the Basic Training checkpoint.

At the Accessing Room 206 checkpoint, obtain the Room 205 keycard from the maid outside Room 205. Use it to enter Room 205, then take the Slovakia postcard from the bedside table.
PowerPyx also notes an alternate keycard location in the Staff Only room if you have already acquired it there. The important destination is still Room 205; the postcard is not in Room 206 despite the checkpoint name.

4. Mauritania — The Past Never Dies, Black Market
Equip the Laser Strap before entering the market area. From the ramp, turn left and head toward the large red anchor. Find the fenced section and use the laser on its padlock. Enter the opened area and take the Mauritania postcard from the desk.
This is the only postcard in the route list with an explicit gadget requirement. If the padlock cannot be opened, do not search the market for another entrance: restart from the second-last checkpoint of the preceding mission, go back to Q-Labs, equip the Laser Strap and return to Black Market.
5. Kensington — Uninvited, Security Office
Reach the Security Office and enter the CCTV Room. Look for a desk positioned near two printers. The Kensington postcard is on that desk. The printer pair is the clearest visual marker because the room contains several office surfaces.
6. City of London — Knightfall, Executive 1st Floor
Continue until Greenway boosts Bond toward a statue. At that point, take the left route rather than the right. Cross the rail and make your way to the open window. The City of London postcard is on the counter inside.
The choice at the statue is the key to this pickup. If you take the right-hand path, you will not pass the counter and may need to reload the checkpoint or use Chapter Select to return.
7. Vietnam — Time To Die, The Three Targets
After interacting with Ellis White, turn right. The Vietnam postcard is on a table directly in front of the NPCs. Collect it before leaving the group area; the table is the landmark, not a separate locked room or gadget puzzle.
8. Q-Lab — Man Of The Hour, The Betrayal
Go to the gym and climb onto the lockers. From the lockers, jump to the ledge, then follow the upper hallway all the way to its end. The Q-Lab postcard is waiting there.
If the corridor appears empty, check that you have taken the elevated route from the gym rather than continuing at floor level. The collectible is at the end of the upper hallway, not beside the lockers themselves.
9. Antarctica — Wave Of The Future, Safety Off
During the robot section, first use the Override Key and the lift. Then cross the metal beam toward the chair beside the large window. The Antarctica postcard is on the trolley next to the chair.

The sequence of landmarks matters: the Override Key and lift identify the correct part of the mission, while the chair, window and trolley identify the final position. Searching earlier robot rooms will not reveal this postcard.

10. MI6 — For England, Backstairs
At the Backstairs checkpoint, move through the bookshelves immediately ahead. Squeeze through the gap and look down at the floor on the other side. The MI6 postcard is lying there.
This is easy to miss because the pickup is low and the bookshelf gap looks like a traversal route rather than a collectible alcove. Enter the gap before following the main path onward.
How to clean up missed postcards after the story
- Open Chapter Select and choose the mission containing the missing postcard.
- Select the checkpoint listed in the table, or the nearest earlier checkpoint if the listed one is not available in your save.
- Equip the Q-Watch for nearby-item highlights. For Mauritania, confirm that the Laser Strap is equipped before loading Black Market.
- Follow the landmark directions to the pickup and interact with the postcard.
- Return to the menu after the pickup so the save is written, following VGC’s recommended procedure.
- Check the postcard count in the in-game collectible menu rather than relying on the overall 92-item total.
Chapter Select is a cleanup tool, not a reason to replay every mission from the beginning. PowerPyx reports that collected items persist, so a missed postcard can be collected in a later session without losing the rest of your progress.
Trophy and save troubleshooting
The postcard count did not change
Confirm that the item was actually picked up, then leave to the menu and reload the relevant save. Check the postcard category in the in-game menu. Because the game has several collectible types, a rising total elsewhere may not indicate that a postcard was registered.
The trophy did not appear after the tenth postcard
All ten postcards are intended to unlock The World Is Not Enough. VGC reports that, for its author, checking the TacSim wall caused the trophy to appear after the final pickup. Treat that as an individual reported workaround rather than a guaranteed fix: first verify the postcard list, return to the menu to save and reload, then check the TacSim wall if the trophy is still absent.
The Mauritania route is blocked
A normal lock on the fenced market area means the Laser Strap is not equipped. Use Chapter Select or restart from the second-last checkpoint of the preceding mission, return to Q-Labs, equip the laser and come back to Black Market. The postcard is behind the padlock by the red anchor, so there is no unlisted market entrance to find.
Recommended collection order
The most convenient first-run approach is to take each postcard when its mission appears, while keeping the Q-Watch available after its Chapter 4 unlock. This avoids remembering ten separate locations and reduces the chance of passing a one-way traversal point.
For a post-story sweep, sort the in-game postcard list against the table above, then use Chapter Select mission by mission. Start with the entries that have a clear route dependency—Slovakia’s Room 205 keycard, City of London’s left turn and Mauritania’s Laser Strap—before checking the straightforward desk and table pickups. This prevents a missing access item from being mistaken for a missing postcard.

What counts toward the postcard trophy
Only the ten postcard pickups count toward The World Is Not Enough. The 36 playing cards, 23 Intel files, 14 Mementos and 9 Legacy Items belong to the broader 92-collectible total and are tracked separately by type. You do not need a physical postcard set; these are in-game collectibles.

How to read the route table correctly
The mission and checkpoint columns are more reliable than the postcard names alone. For example, the Slovakia pickup appears at the “Accessing Room 206” checkpoint but is physically in Room 205. Likewise, City of London is identified by the “Executive 1st Floor” checkpoint and the decision point where Greenway boosts Bond, while Q-Lab requires the upper hallway above the gym. If a room name seems inconsistent with the postcard’s location, follow the landmark directions rather than searching for a room with the same number as the checkpoint.
Most pickups sit on a desk, table, counter, trolley or floor. That means a Q-Watch highlight can be close without being visible from the main walking line. Check elevated routes, window openings, furniture behind a landmark and the floor immediately beyond traversal gaps. The Q-Watch confirms proximity; the named landmark confirms that you are in the right part of the mission.

For each postcard, pause briefly after the pickup and verify the interaction completed. Then return to the menu instead of immediately closing the application. This follows VGC’s recommended behavior and gives the game time to write the collectible state. When you resume, open the collectible menu and confirm the postcard category rather than relying on a general progress number.

The postcards in this guide are digital pickups inside 007 First Light; collecting them does not document a physical postcard series. The official 007 Store Collector’s Edition listing describes a physical game copy, a wearable life-size gold mask replica, a steel case and a certificate of authenticity among its contents. It does not establish an official physical postcard set, and availability can vary by platform and region, so check the current store listing before buying.

Which postcard is easiest to miss?
Mauritania is the main access trap because its fenced Black Market area requires the Laser Strap. City of London also depends on taking the left route at the statue, while Slovakia requires access to Room 205.
