Fallout: New Vegas has 11 snow globes: seven in the base game and four in its major story add-ons. If you are collecting them for the Globe Trotter achievement, you only need the seven base-game globes; the add-on globes do not count.
Base-game snow globe locations
The seven achievement-relevant globes are spread across the Mojave. Follow each landmark description to pinpoint the small collectible.

Goodsprings Cemetery
At the cemetery’s northern edge, near the water tower, look among the rubble. The globe is in front of the second grave west of the Courier’s open grave.
Hoover Dam
Enter the Hoover Dam Visitor Center and check the welcome desk.

Old Mormon Fort
In Freeside, enter the Old Mormon Fort and go to its western corner. Use the tower door; the globe is upstairs on a shelf.
Jacobstown
Go into the Jacobstown lodge and check the reception desk.
Nellis Air Force Base
Inside the Boomer Museum, look on the table to the right just after you enter.
Lucky 38 cocktail lounge
The globe is behind the middle cash register, beside a green lamp and the bar taps. Speak to Mr. House first to gain access to the lounge.

Vault 21 on the Strip
In Vault 21, find Sarah’s room at the northeast corner. The globe is on the nightstand in the Average-locked room.
Snow globes in the story add-ons
These four collectibles are separate from the base-game achievement set.
Sierra Madre: Dead Money
The globe is in the upper levels of Salida del Sol North, near Dean’s Secret Stash. From the southernmost entrance to Salida del Sol South, go down the stairs and onto the street. Turn around and look up for a hole in the wall. To reach it, take the southeast stairs around the corner, then follow the rooftops back.
Zion National Park: Honest Hearts
In the Zion General Store, check the bottom shelf of the broken cabinet behind the counter.

At the X-17 Meteorological Station, look in the room on the catwalk beside the model houses.

At the Junction 7 rest stop, just past the High Road, turn right as you leave the High Road. The shop is at the bottom of the hill; go upstairs and look inside a fallen bookshelf.

Base-game globes are quest items that can be sold to Jane for 2,000 caps each. Turning them in places them on the display stand in the Lucky 38 presidential suite. The achievement requires collecting the seven base-game globes, but does not require selling them to Jane. The four add-on globes do not contribute to Globe Trotter.
Add-on globe rewards work differently: picking one up automatically awards 2,000 caps and places it on the shelf above the stand, except the Sierra Madre globe, which awards 2,000 Sierra Madre chips instead. If Mr. House is killed, Jane disappears, so the normal turn-in is unavailable; this does not prevent earning Globe Trotter.
