The Rock has three campaign dog tags: one at the opening landing area, one in the underground Second World War museum, and one in the shipping-container area of the final anti-aircraft battery. Collecting all three completes the mission’s collectible challenge and unlocks the Danger Ahead Player Card Background.
Where each dog tag is
The three tags sit in the order you reach them during the mission. The landmarks below are the ones the guides agree on, so use them to orient yourself even if the exact object differs from what you see.
Tag 1: the opening landing area
After landing at the start of The Rock, turn around and head toward the artillery emplacement. Go around its right side toward the radio tower. The tag sits on an upturned blue plastic crate. PowerPyx places it on a box by the anti-aircraft gun platform before the gate, while Item Level Gaming describes a blue box near a radio antenna. The starting area behind the landing point is the common thread, so search there even if the object matches neither description exactly.
Tag 2: the underground Second World War museum
Continue into the tunnels and the museum. In the exhibit area, look for a radio-operator mannequin seated at a desk. The tag is on the desk beside him. PowerPyx describes it as a large table on the left, with a flashing light, as you pass through the museum. Check the table on the left side of the exhibit before moving on, because the museum route is easy to walk through quickly.

Tag 3: the final anti-aircraft battery
After rejoining Lancer and entering the final anti-aircraft battery area, head for the open shipping container near the stairs and the second, final AAA gun. The tag hangs from a knife on the left side of the open container. The guides differ on whether the knife is on the container door or inside the container, so look along the left side of the open container rather than searching for one exact spot. This tag is in the last combat area, so collect it before you leave that section.
Rewards from The Rock and the wider campaign
The rewards come at three different scopes. The table below separates what each one requires and what the guides confirm about it.

| Reward | What earns it | What the guides confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Danger Ahead Player Card Background (one guide shortens it to “Danger Ahead player card”) | All three tags in The Rock, which completes the mission’s collectible challenge | Unlock confirmed by PC Gamer and PowerPyx, 2025 |
| Mission collectible challenge for The Rock | All three tags in this mission | Each mission has a challenge for finding all its collectibles and awards an item for multiplayer (PowerPyx, 2025) |
| Campaign collectibles | All 30 dog tags across nine missions | Total reported by PowerPyx and PC Gamer, 2025 |
| Campaign-wide achievement or trophy | Campaign-wide progress, not the three tags in The Rock alone | Criteria not stated in the guides; finding the three tags here does not by itself earn it |
Tracking your progress and replaying the mission
- The pause menu lists collectibles for each mission in their order of appearance, so you can see which tags you have already found.
- If you miss a tag, you can replay the mission from the main menu and collect the remaining items. PowerPyx confirms that all missions can be replayed this way.
- Look for the campaign challenges in the in-game menus, which track the mission’s collectible challenge.
What the guides do not establish
- Difficulty requirements: None of the guides describe a difficulty setting or minimum difficulty needed to collect these three tags.
- Menu labels by platform: The guides do not confirm the exact wording of challenge menus on each platform, so match the labels to the descriptions above rather than expecting identical text.
- Account sync: The guides do not say how collectible progress syncs across accounts or devices, so do not assume a particular result.
The positions above come from guides dated October 2025. If a tag is not where described, check the pause-menu collectible list to confirm which items you still need, then compare the surrounding landmarks before searching the whole area.
The Rock has three tags and one mission reward. The campaign-wide total of 30 tags across nine missions is a separate goal from this mission’s challenge.
