The hive for Celeste’s Bees! quest is in the Olive Grove in southern Blue Gate, on the east side of the grove. It hangs from the roof of a small shed with wire-mesh walls, on the right side of the entrance. Head south from the central Checkpoint and listen for buzzing, which is the easiest way to confirm you are close.
How to reach the hive
- Enter a raid on The Blue Gate map.
- Travel south from the central Checkpoint to the Olive Grove.
- Move to the east side of the grove and look for a small shed with wire-mesh walls and a corrugated metal roof.
- Find the hive overhead at the shed entrance, hanging from the roof on the right side as you face the door. Follow the buzzing if you have trouble spotting it.
- Interact with the hive to collect it. Then check your active quest tracker before you leave the raid. The next section explains why.
The quest dialogue also mentions old sheds to the southeast of Checkpoint, which is consistent with the shed on the east side of the grove. If you cannot find a wire-mesh shed, check the eastern edge of the grove first rather than searching the whole map.
Do you have to extract with the hive?
Published guides disagree on this point, and the ARC Raiders Wiki’s objective text does not settle it. Until you have checked the tracker in your own game, do not assume the quest is complete after interacting with the hive, and do not assume you must extract with it.
GameSpot’s account
GameSpot describes the hive as an inventory item and says you need to extract with it to finish the quest.

What to check before leaving
- Open your active quest tracker after interacting with the hive.
- If the Bees! objective is marked complete, you can leave the raid.
- If the objective is still open, or the hive appears in your inventory with an extraction prompt, extract with it.

Celeste’s briefing
The wiki records Celeste’s line from raid entry: “Our scouts spotted beehives on some old sheds to the south-east. There should be an olive grove around there. So, perk up your ears. If you hear a buzzing noise, they can’t be far away.”

- Location: the hive is in the southern Olive Grove on Blue Gate, on the east side, at a wire-mesh shed entrance. Guides from GameSpot, PC Gamer, and the ARC Raiders Wiki agree on this.
- Audio cue: PC Gamer and the in-game dialogue both point to buzzing as a guide.
- Extraction: disputed between GameSpot and PC Gamer, as described above.
- Spawn rates and hive counts: no reliable figures are published for how many hives exist or how often they appear. Do not expect a set number of hives to be visible at any time.
The walkthroughs cited here do not carry a patch version, so if the hive or the quest has moved since they were written, use the in-game tracker and map as the final reference.
