The Berry Lab sits south of the Pond, in the stone wall area. Head toward the wall from the Pond and look for the Squirts Carton beside it; the lab entrance is in that area. Two 2023 guides independently place it there, but neither is official documentation, so confirm the layout in your own game build before relying on it.
Finding the Berry Lab entrance
- Start at the Pond and travel south toward the stone wall.
- Locate the Squirts Carton beside the wall. It serves as the landmark for the entrance area.
- Check the area around the wall for the lab entrance, then compare what you see with the landmarks described above.
What you may need to get inside
One guide states that an explosive is required to open the way into the secret Berry Lab, and names the Bratburst as an example. The same guide describes the item as a Bratburst-like explosive, so the exact item may differ in your version. The guide also links the hidden lab to the Pinch Whacker, an in-game weapon. Treat both points as leads to test rather than confirmed requirements: the obstruction and the item needed to clear it should be checked in the game itself.
Berry Lab and Berry Outpost
Players searching for the lab also encounter the term “Berry Outpost.” The same guide describes the outpost as a separate location near the Squirts Carton, so do not assume the two names refer to one place. If you are following directions for the lab, make sure the landmark you reach is the lab entrance and not the outpost.
Verifying the route in your game version
- The directions date from 2023 and come from fan-run guides, so layout details may have changed in later updates.
- The sources do not establish whether the route or access requirements differ by platform.
- If the wall or Squirts Carton is not where the guide places it, use the Pond as your starting point and search the wall area systematically before assuming the directions are wrong.
- Directions for the original Grounded do not automatically apply to Grounded 2, which is a separate game.
Once you find the entrance, note the landmark you used so you can return to it without repeating the search.
